Why it’s hot in 2019: "KeepTruckin is growing like crazy. They’ve found a way to use a bottoms-up approach to enter the trucking industry, part of the deskless workforce that’s typically forgotten by the software industry. In the deskless space, bottoms-up is harder to accomplish because end users don’t have as much IT authority and budget as deskbound workers. Can’t wait to see them explode in 2019."
A helpful colleague drops a note to Qantas media relations. I reply to Qantas media that I don’t need someone else calling me and asking me to describe the bag yet again. This is starting to wear down my usual optimistic outlook.
Dogs are FAMILY. They deserve treats, cuddles, warm beds, walks, food, toys, and shelter. They don’t deserve to be forced to run 1,000 miles through a harsh snowy climate just so some human can win a prize
Developing universally consistent standards is a work in progress. A number of compounding pharmacies in other states ship medications into California, so making the state regulations jibe with a national standard could reduce some confusion, Herold said: “The goal is to harmonize with our counterparts in other states.”
He goes kayaking, hiking and rappelling. Between adventures, he naps, eats and watches the passing scenery out the RV window. He never has to pitch in for gas. As the Hofmans’ cat, Vladimir is excused from sharing the wheel or any other chore of road travel.

It "delivers a dramatically better customer experience with conversion rates that are 10X’s higher than traditional insurance. On the underwriting side, the real time data drives lower loss rates than traditional insurance," says Treyger.
Two military dogs have become the face of Pets at Home’s new Remembrance poppy range developed exclusively with The Royal British Legion. Labrador Billie and Buster, a German shepherd, who both recently retired from serving in the military, returned to the Defence Animal Training Regiment, in Melton Mowbray, to take part in a photoshoot. The two hero dogs were given the chance to model a new range of poppy-themed pet accessories, created to support the Armed Forces charity, in the Centenary year of the end of the First World War. Billie, who retired three days before Christmas last year, served as a vehicle search dog and Buster trained as an RAF Police dog. Last week, however, they turned their paws to modelling the three new pet accessories, from which 100% of the profits go to The Royal British Legion.PROUD
Since Arnault rolled in, much has changed: Rimowa’s product line has undergone a redesign, as has the brand’s logo; the company has been partially moved to Paris (with production remaining in Germany); and a plethora of collaborations have propelled the label to a wider, younger, and hungrier audience. Those collaborative partners include: Off-White, Fendi, Supreme, and, now, the above-mentioned artist Israel. More are in the pipeline for 2019 (though these were not yet disclosable at the time of this interview). Arnault has also introduced new product categories—namely an especially good-looking iPhone case, which quickly sold out—and has made managerial alterations, too, like pulling out of wholesale. Another major adjustment? Rimowa has ceased all print advertising; it was the first of those in the LVMH portfolio that advertise in print to do so.
Minerva is a very hard worker. Two-year-old "Minnie" likes to spend her time cleaning, inspecting boxes and bird watching. (And looking adorable.)

Why it’s hot in 2019: Before more autonomous vehicles enter the public roads, their makers need specialized and heartier simulation software to test them. "A massive problem for the 21st century with an incredible team tackling a complex and high-value challenge," says Janmohamed.
